Students of Abai KazNPU received an increased scholarship

According to the order of the Head of State Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev, scholarships of students in higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan have increased by 25% since January 2020. Today, 3089 students, 928 undergraduates and 393 doctoral students of Abai Kazakh National University were among the first to receive increased scholarships. In particular, the scholarship of undergraduate students increased from 20,949 tenge to 26,186 tenge, the scholarship of students enrolled in a master`s program - from 53,530 tenge to 66,913 tenge, the scholarship of students enrolled in a doctoral program - from 81,998 tenge to 102,498 tenge.

The support of students from the President and the Ministry of Education and Science of the country is a very important step. This will allow raising the level of training of competitive personnel and raising the status of universities to the international level.
