Actual issues of youth education

On January 22, 2020, under the chairmanship of the vice-rector for educational work and social development, Zhanatbek Ishpekbayev, a meeting was held to discuss pressing issues of youth education. Representatives of structural divisions and deputy directors of educational institutions attended the event. So, the vice-rector Zhanatbek Ishpekbayev spoke about a new education model, which was considered at an expanded meeting on topical issues of educational work under the leadership of the director of the Department of Higher and Postgraduate Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan A. Toybaev (https://www.kaznu.kz/ru/3/news/one/18583/).

In addition, the meeting discussed and considered action plans to celebrate the 175th anniversary of Abay, the 1150th anniversary of al-Farabi, the 25th anniversary of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan and the Year of the Volunteer.

Deputy directors of the institutes were instructed to hold meetings with the teaching staff and students in order to discuss and clarify the article by the Head of State K.K. Tokayev «Abai and Kazakhstan in the 21st century» and the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan «On the status of a teacher».

As a result of the meeting, the responsible persons were given a number of instructions on organizing a republican contest among the young akins-improvisers «Menin Pirim-Suinbay» and the competition for creative projects Start Project.
