Literary and informative evening «Abai`s words of edification is a national heritage» dedicated to Abai`s 175th anniversary

On February 4, 2020, at the initiative of the Department of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan at AbaiKazNPU and the Student Assembly «Birlik», a literary and informative evening «Abai`s words of edification is a national heritage» was held, dedicated to the 175th anniversary of the great poet and philosopher.

The vice-rector for educational work and social development Zhanatbek Ishpekbaev opened the event. He spoke about the anniversary events that will be held as part of this event.

The event was attended by members of the student`s Assembly «Birlik», students of the specialties «Kazakh language and literature», «philology», «Russian language and literature», «social psychology and self-knowledge», «psychology», «defectology», «pedagogy and psychology». The first year graduate student Dauren Mamyrkhan, 1-2 year students Balnur Nurlybai, Assel Zholdaskalikyzy, Madina Mralieva, Dayana Mukhamedzhanova, Dina Zhumagozha, Zarina Kurbanbayeva, Aigul Yarkul and Dilnaz Yusupova took an active part in the discussion of Abai`s words of edification, conveying his deep philosophical ideas.

At the end of the evening, Kazyna Bekbenbetova (Deputy Director of the Department of Educational, Social Work and Youth Policy), Zauresh Sabyrova (Deputy Head of the «Ruhani Zhangyru» Project Office), Yerlan Kassenov and Almas Naimanbayev (Deputy Directors of the Institute of Philology and Multilingual Language), expressed gratitude to the moderator of the event (head of the department of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan Gulzhikhan Shaharman and all members of the Student Assembly «Birlik»). As a result of the event, active participants were awarded certificates.
