Republican debate tournament for cup of rector «Аbai jane ulttyk sana»

From February 29 to March 1, 2020, the Committee on Youth Affairs together with the Atameken Debate Club of the Abai KazNPU held a Republican debate tournament for the Rector`s Cup of the «Аbai jane ulttyk sana»

On the first day, the tournament officially opened. About 200 participants from 22 universities and five colleges (27 educational institutions) from six regions of the country took part in it.

The event was opened by the rector Takir Balykbayev, he talked about the main activities of our university, dedicated to the 175th anniversary of Abay.

In turn, the chairman of the Atameken debate club, Asembek Duman, introduced the participating teams and the rules of the tournament.

The qualifying round of the debate tournament was held in educational buildings No. 1, 5 and 6; according to the results of the tour, the winners were awarded with special letters on behalf of the rector and cash prizes.

In the final round, the debate participants shared their views on the topic «Abaydin ushinshi kara sozinin negizinde jalkaulikty jenu jolin korsetedi».
So, the III place was awarded to students of KazNU named after Al-Farabi of the Deniz fraction, they were awarded a cash prize of 80 000 KZT, the second place was taken by students of the «Ayu men khonjik» fraction of South Kazakhstan State Pedagogical University, they received a cash prize of 100 000 KZT. Students of the «Lincoln men Senator» fraction of Narxoz University won the first place, and they were awarded a cash prize of 150,000 KZT.

In addition, active debaters and judges of the tournament were awarded for winning the nominations «Uzdik talpynis», «En uzdik speaker», «Uzdik pikirsaisshy», «Uzdik toreshy», «Uzdik intellect iesy», «Belsendy Atamekendyk», «Uzdik GUID» and cash prizes.
