Universiade: curling competition winners have been determined

The VIII Winter Universiade of Kazakhstan, dedicated to the 1150th anniversary of Abu Nasr al-Farabi and organized with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, continues.

Today, in the «Almaty Arena» sports complex, the winners of the curling competitions were awarded. Students from 10 universities took part in competitions in this sport.

Among the boys:

1st place - Kazakh Academy of Sports and Tourism;

2 place - East Kazakhstan State University named after S. Amanzholova;

3rd place - North Kazakhstan State University named after M. Kozybaev.

Among the girls:

1st place - Kazakh Academy of Sports and Tourism;

2 place - North Kazakhstan State University named after M. Kozybaev;

3rd place - Kostanay State Pedagogical University named after W. Sultangazina.

Among the mixed pairs:

1st place - Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University;

2nd place - University of Foreign Languages ​​and Business Careers;

3rd place - East Kazakhstan State University named after S. Amanzholova.

Mixed teams:

1st place - East Kazakhstan State Technical University named after D. Serikbaev;

2 place - Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University;

3rd place - Aktobe State Regional University named after K.Zhubanova.

In general reporting:

1st place - Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University;

2nd place - Kazakh Academy of Sports and Tourism;

3rd place - East Kazakhstan State University named after S. Amanzholova.

According to the results of the competition, Abai KazNPU was recognized as the best university participating in these competitions.
