Abai KazNPU switched to distance learning

Since March 16, 2020, Abai KazNPU switched to distance learning. For the organization of training, the Univer system http://univer.kaznpu.kz/ is used, as well as for interactive distance learning on the LMS MOODLE platform http://dis.kaznpu.kz/els/login/index.php. In the Univer information system, the content is 100% filled. Educational materials, including educational and methodical complexes, syllabuses, materials of lectures, seminars, assignments, are posted.

On March 16 and 17, 2020, the Distance Learning Center held training seminars for the teaching staff of the university. The seminars addressed issues on working in a Distance Learning System (moodle), developing and introducing an electronic teaching and learning complex for the discipline, support and organization of training. Teachers will continue their professional development courses from March 26 to April 4 in a webinar format.

Training sessions are held in accordance with the approved schedule, teachers conduct various types of work (online lectures, video lectures, independent work, online courses and others), in accessible information and communication technologies (Skype, MOODLE, ZOOM, Google Classroom, electronic mail, instagram, YouTube and others). Video reports and written reports are sent to the deputy directors for academic work and are posted in the Univer information system. Weekly grades are published in the electronic journal in the IS «Univer». The administration and the directorate of institutes constantly monitor the progress of the educational process and other forms of ongoing control.
