«Accelerator of Good: Izgilik elshisi» movement: you should also be visible

As part of the republican campaign bizbirgemiz in Almaty, an initiative was launched to help those in need during an emergency. This category of people primarily includes socially vulnerable segments of the population: elderly people, people with disabilities, poor and large families.

Volunteers of the operational headquarters of the city akimat and the national movement «Accelerator of Good: Izgilik elshisi» drove food baskets to the homes of those in need, for whom such assistance is very significant. The head of the volunteer movement «Accelerator of Good: Izgilik elshisi», director of the Institute of Sorbonne-Kazakhstan of Abai KazNPU Ainur Sabitova noted that during the state of emergency in the country it is necessary to help each other. «At risk are older people. When the whole city practically lives in a regime of complete isolation, they need our help and care. You should also be visible», she said.

Volunteers of this movement also provide legal assistance to people in need online. As the first results of this work showed, such assistance is no less important than food packages.
