The teaching staff of the Department of Chemistry held an online meeting of the Department

Today, in connection with the coronavirus outbreak, the plenary session of the Department of chemistry of the Institute of natural science and geography was held online. All the teaching staff of the Department attended the meeting.

Head of the Department Mukatayeva Zhazira acquainted the teaching staff with the agenda. At the meeting, the sides discussed topical questions of distance learning technologies. It was said that the oral and written exams of the summer session could be converted into a test form in connection with the emergency in the country. It was noted that it is necessary to prepare test questions and submit them to the test center in due time.

One of the issues on the agenda was announced organizational events of the Decade of science, which will be held in April. Within the framework of the Republican subject olympiad «Abai siyi» among students of the 11th grades, colleagues exchanged views. Professor Zhenis Shokybayev stressed that in order to improve the level of the «Abai siyi» olympiad, it is necessary to strengthen the work on vocational guidance of schoolchildren.
