Webinar: distance learning methods using various platforms were discussed

On April 14, 2020, in order to exchange experience, an online webinar «Kazakhstan-Russian experience in the organization of distance learning» was held at Abai KazNPU with the participation of Russian colleagues. The moderator was the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of Abai KazNPU Assan Satmyrzaev.

The webinar was attended by Nikolay Pak, head of the department of computer science and information technology in education of the Krasnoyarsk State Pedagogical University, Alexander Grishkun, associate professor of the Department of Education Informatization of the Institute of Digital Education of Moscow City Pedagogical University, as well as heads of departments responsible for distance learning, institutes and departments of Abai KazNPU.

During the event, issues of ensuring the quality of the content of distance learning courses, the organization of online video conferencing on various platforms (Zoom, Google Hangouts, BigBlueButton, etc.) were discussed. Specialists also shared the distance learning methods of STEM educational courses.

Presentations were made by the director of the Department of Educational Programming Design of Abai KazNPU Adil Baidildin (Theme: «Issues of ensuring the quality of the content of distance learning courses»), deputy director of the Center for Continuing Education and Distance Education of Abai KazNPU Daniyar Bideybekov (Theme: «Organization of online video conferencing on various platforms (Zoom, Google Hangouts, BigBlueButton, etc.)»), director of STEAM park of Abai KazNPU Bektas Bostanov (Theme: «Methods of distance learning STEM courses»).

The webinar was effective; participants actively shared their opinions and experiences.
