Program «Rukhani zhangyru»: presentation of new textbooks in the Kazakh language

Second-year undergraduate students of the translation department of the Department of Oriental Philology and Translation of the Institute of Philology and Multilingual education Nursulu Umirtasova and Aizhan Auelbekova under the guidance of Doctor of Philology, Professor Aigul Zhumabekova prepared an online presentation of new textbooks translated from English into Kazakh as part of the program «Rukhani zhangyru»: K.Armstrong. «A History of God», V.Fromkin, R.Rodman, N.Hyams. «An Introduction to Language».

This presentation introduces students, undergraduates, doctoral students, with the content and features of the translation of these textbooks, their authors, translators from the National Translation Bureau, who worked on the project «New Humanitarian Knowledge. 100 new textbooks in the Kazakh language».

Of particular relevance to this presentation is the fact that the aforementioned textbooks that were published in 2018 as part of the «Rukhani zhangyru» program and were introduced into the educational process at all universities in Kazakhstan were not yet analyzed in the translation aspect.
