Memorial day for victims of political repression

According to the university`s educational plan, on May 31, 2020, at the initiative of the Institute of History and Law, a round table was held at the Museum of Memory of the Victims of Political Repression.

Doctor of Historical Sciences, Academician Mambet Koigeldiev, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Academician Hangeldy Abzhanov, scientists-historians and public figures, as well as representatives of the Department of Educational Work, the Committee on Youth Affairs, the teaching staff of the Institute of History and Law attended the round table.

During the event, substantial reports were presented on the difficult and tragic period in the history of humanity. The participants discussed the causes and consequences of the political repressions that affected Kazakhstan in the 30s of the twentieth century.
