"Digital Teacher 2020" Summer School

Abai KazNPU organized the Summer Online School "Digital Educator 2020". A team of mentors from among the best graduates of the course was formed under the guidance of Darazha Isabayeva, head of the Testing Center. Teachers of the pre-university department of the Faculty for Foreign Citizens and pre-university training actively participated in this event.

Participants of the Summer Online School acquired skills in working with digital tools (DownSub, Advego, Dandelion, Alot, CoreApp, Zoom, GoogleMeet, OBS-Studio, Edpazzle, QuizLET, Quizizz, Kahoot, Socrative). They learned how to create video lectures on different platforms; conduct classes on different servers using multimedia elements; track the digital footprint; conduct experiments in virtual laboratories; make tests and conduct surveys, reflexion using digital platforms; analyze data and form rubrics, etc.

On July 30, 2020 the protection of design works took place. The teachers of the pre-university department worked in the following groups: Zhanbyrbayeva K., Togybekovna R. (Group 1), the theme of the project: "Abai`s study of educational principles in the doctrine of the" Complete Man "", Pernebekova AK, Beisenova K.Sh., (Group 5), the theme of the project: "Virtual audience", Nugymanova LA (Group 3), the theme of the project: "Development of students` constructive thinking, pedagogical support in teaching and learning", Dzhunusova SM (Group 7), the theme of the project: "Digital culture in the context of distance learning", Taubayeva GZ, Abdulaeva Zh.A. (Group 11), the theme of the project: "Abai`s heritage in the world spiritual space", Orazbayeva Kh.K. (Group 12), the theme of the project: "Organization of independent work of students in the context of distance learning."

Teachers of pre-university training department say that if the course program is successfully mastered, the effective organization of the course, high qualification, culture and care of mentors, corporate spirit of the participants have a great influence and express their gratitude to the organizers of summer online school.
