Online lecture «Kazakh alphabet based on Latin script»

 

On September 29, 2020, at 11.00-13.30 hours, an online lecture on Online lecture «Kazakh alphabet based on Latin script» was held on the ZOOM online platform, in accordance with the action plan for the implementation of the «Rukhani zhangyru» program for 2020, organized by the «Latyn» scientific and practical center at the Abai KazNPU.

 

The event was attended by teachers and professors of al-Farabi KazNU and KazNWTTU, specialists of the Institute for advanced training of teachers in the Almaty region «Orleu», teachers of the Kazakh language and literature of secondary school № 28 of the Almaty region and secondary school-gymnasium №19 of the city of Taldykorgan, as well as teachers, undergraduates and doctoral students of the Abai KazNPU.

Presentations were made at an online lecture by: Doctor of Philology, Zhubaeva O. S. «Principles of writing foreign language names in the transition to a national script based on Latin graphics», senior lecturer of the Institute for advanced training of teachers of the branch of JSC NCPD «Orleu» in Almaty region Ormanbekova L. Zh. «Transition to the Kazakh alphabet based on Latin graphics: results of practice».The participants of the lecture expressed their opinion on the main issues that were voiced in each report, as well as expressed their opinion on the scientific conclusions and news that were voiced in each report.

During the lecture, opinions were expressed on the role of philologists in the process of switching to the Latin alphabet, on the implementation of the task of switching to the Latin alphabet in the process of training future teachers, on the current state of the introduction of the Kazakh alphabet based on Latin graphics: problems and opportunities for their solution.

At the end of the event, recommendations and decisions related to the norm of writing Latin letters were made.

Participants of the online lecture were awarded certificates and letters of thanks.
