International online seminar «Interview with a Writer»

On October 5, 2020, on the Zoom online platform, an international seminar was held with the participation of students of the Faculty of Slavic Studies at the University of Zurich in Switzerland and Masters students the Department of Science of the Institute of Philology and Polylingual Education of Abai University. Theme: «Interview with a Writer».

Representatives of the Abai University Department of Science, Olga Burenina-Petrova, researcher at the Institute of Slavistics of the University of Zurich, Ludmila Safronova, professor at Abai University, and Elena Shmakova, 3rd year doctoral student of the Russian Language and Literature Department, organized the international online seminar.

The event was attended by students from the University of Zurich and 2nd year undergraduates from Abai University. The famous Kazakh poet and prose writer, winner of prestigious international awards Yuri Serebryansky became the guest of the seminar. The writer answered the questions of students and undergraduates about his profession, creativity and shared his opinion on the prospects for the development of online literature.
