On the basis of the agreement on cooperation of the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University (Abai KazNPU) with Hubei University of Technology  (Wuhan, China) in 2012 it signed an agreement on double-degree graduate program in the fields. "Informatics", "Teaching Chinese Language" Under this program, eight students Abai KazNPU in 2015 awarded a master`s degree.

To maintain and develop existing academic cooperation on 6 April of current year, took place a meeting of the Abai KazNPU`s delegation, headed by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Doctor of Philosophy, professor, corresponding member of NAS RK Aktolkyn Kulsariyeva and Hubei University of Technology  (HUT), headed by the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Zhang Iyng Zhiqiang in Wuhan City.
During the meeting, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Zhang Iyngzhiang HUTmade a welcoming speech and presented in general terms HUT history, from the formation, the development of university education to the characteristics of the modern university. Professor Zhang also pointed out that the HUT  hopes to promote a comprehensive communication and cooperation between countries and institutions of higher education along the Great Silk Road, in particular - with the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Abai KazNPU Aktolkyn Kulsariyeva provide summary information about the university, she spoke about the prospects of cooperation Abai KazNPU with HUT. Given the existing positive experience and a solid foundation of cooperation between universities, Professor A.T. Kulsariyeva expressed hope for further deepening of mutually beneficial academic communication.
After an exchange of views and discussions necessary academic and financial sides of double-diploma educational program, representatives of the two Universities signed agreement on double-degree undergraduate programs in the fields: "Informatics", "Teaching Chinese Language" and "Art and Design". The delegation of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University in the framework of the visit, visited the School of Industrial Design, School of Art and Design, the laboratory at the Faculty of Light Industry, and the Hubei Provincial Innovation Center for Effective use of solar energy.
