02.12.2020 Meeting with a school friend of Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev
On November 30, 2020, at the Kazakh National Pedagogical University Abai, the Institute of History and Law, a meeting was held of 3rd year students of the specialty 5В01300-History-Religious Studies, students of the 11th grade of school-lyceum No. 146 with a school friend of the First President of the country, Elbasy N.A. Nazarbayev`s Edige Zhunusov, organized by the history teacher of the school-lyceum №146, the leading teacher of our students Kamysbaeva Katira Balabekkyzy on the Zoom platform.
The event was attended by an associate professor from the Department of World History, Historiography and Source Studies at the Al Farabi Kazakh National University Kairken Kunapina, editor-in-chief of the methodological journal «History of Kazakhstan» Azimkhanova Tamara, director of school-lyceum Nuradinov Nurgali, teacher of Abai KazNPU, head of practice Taspulatova Kaldygul. Edige Zhunusov and Nursultan Nazarbayev are not only classmates who graduated from the Abai high school in the city of Kaskelen of the Almaty region, together, but also grew up together as inseparable friends. During the meeting, students and schoolchildren asked guest several questions of their interest, and received important answers.
Edige Isatuly held several positions in the Almaty region, currently he is the chairman of the Council of Veterans of the Karasai region. He told about the First President of RK wonderful memories that can inspire any person. Edige Zhunusov: «We can talk a lot about Elbasy. The most important thing is his huge contribution made in the name of his people and people. Personal qualities of Nursultan Abishevich: when this person walks, even the gathered clouds dissipate, and it becomes sunny again, as if light comes with him. This is a difficult person. He is always happy to meet us, does not divide anyone. Every year in March, classmates meet with Elbasy».
At the end of the meeting, students and schoolchildren expressed their good wishes to Edige Isatuly and expressed their gratitude for his story, which can serve as an example for them.
