Students are on the way to science

On December 7, 2020, the Institute of Philology and multilingual education of Abai KazNPU, Department of Kazakh language and literature named after academician S. Kirabayev, headed by associate professor R. S. Rakhmetova and led by the secretary of candidate of Philological Sciences, acting assoc. professor Z. Zh. Osmanova in online mode via the google meet platform, held a 75th traditional scientific conference of students and undergraduates on the topic: «State language: native language, functional second language, official language».

23 students took part in the 2nd section of the conference. Their best works were identified. Malik Akjunus 1st-year student of the specialty «Kazakh language and literature» took first place.

The topic of her report - «Cognitive, educational value of Kazakh riddles». Scientific supervisor, associate Professor Bidana Kabatay.

Second place was taken by Aizhan Seraly, a 2nd-year student of the specialty «Kazakh language and literature» with the topic: «Interaction of the Kazakh-Russian language (sociolinguistic search)», scientific supervisor, assoc. professor Sayan Zhirenov; and Rinat Espaev, a 1st-year student of the specialty «pedagogical geography». Subject: «Parables in the works of B. Momyshuly». Scientific supervisor, acting associate Professor Meruert Alibayeva.

Third place - Zhansaya Namaz, a 1st-year student of the specialty «Kazakh language and literature». Topic: «Study of Abai`s teaching «A full-fledged man». Scientific supervisor, senior lecturer Aizhan Yusup; Aigerim Asylkhakovna Mazhenova is a 1st-year student of the specialty «Turkology». Topic: «The ethno-cultural character of Arabic-Persian words in the Kipchak languages». Scientific supervisor, senior lecturer Roza Bakbergenova; Kristina Degtyareva 1st-year student of the specialty «primary education and information and communication technologies (PEICT)». Topic: «Multilingualism is one of the facets of human capital development». Scientific supervisor, associate Professor Houlihan Saharan; Madina Tulegen is a 2nd-year student of the specialty «Kazakh language and literature». Topic: «Continuity of education and upbringing in Abay`s work». Scientific supervisor, senior lecturer Gulnaz Nuptekeeva.

The conference was well organized and held at a high level.
