Students of the specialty "Philology" are the
winners of the International Reading Competition
On December 21, 2020, the results of the International Competition of Readers and Translation which was organized by Vyatka State University (Russia), became known. 1st year students of the specialty "Philology" participated in the competition with videos. Under the guidance of Associate Professor of the Department of Russian Language and Literature Zinaida Polyak, they prepared a video recording of their performance of poems by Anna Akhmatova and Sergei Yesenin. The choice of authors is not accidental: in November and December 2020, these students participated in literary evenings and online excursions to the museums of S. Esenin (Moscow) and A. Akhmatova (St. Petersburg) held by the department.
Diana Karimova will receive a certificate of the participant of the competition, and Milana Atmysheva and Ayuzak Dzhumabaev won prizes. They were announced as winners of the II degree in the nomination "Reading a poetic work of Russian classical or modern literature". Congratulations to the freshmen on their first big success in their student life!
