Scientific webinar «Totalitarian and destructive sects and cults»

On December 26, 2020, M.B. Assanbayev, a professor-researcher at the Department of Political Science and Socio-Philosophical Disciplines of the Institute of History and Law, held scientific webinar on: «Totalitarian and destructive sects and cults».

The aim of this webinar was to describe the totalitarian sects and cults of a destructive nature operating in many countries, including Kazakhstan. During the webinar, the ideology, criteria and signs of totalitarian sects and cults, as well as the consequences faced by people caught in the networks of these organizations, were considered.
