Abai KazNPU concluded the Winter School-2021: topical problems of education were discussed

On the 15th of January 2021 in Abai KazNPU the Winter School «Pedagogical education in the format of distance learning» finished its work. The deputy directors of institutes for academic work, heads of departments, and university teaching staff took an active part in the event.

During the concluding seminar Kulyash Kaymuldinova, Director of the Institute of Natural Sciences and Geography, presented to the participants the experience of implementation of the horizontal cyclic management structure ideas in the institute she leads. This project was launched under the supervision of Ozat Baiserkeev, a trainer in the implementation of HCOS and adaptive leadership. The session participants showed interest in the HCOS technology to move to a new level of communication within the HEI in order to overcome the crisis of hierarchical management. They discussed with interest the algorithm for implementing the GreenUniversity and GreenScool models in the context of a national university.

Anar Tanabaeva, Head of the UNESCO Chair in Educational Science and Teacher Training, led the second session of the day. The theme «UNESCO`s international approaches to the implementation of distance education» was disclosed. The audience noted the prospect of introduction of new international approaches in distance education, the urgency of the seminar and the necessity of the work done in this direction.

Within the framework of the Winter School, Daniyar Bidaybekov, Deputy Director of the CCE and DL, conducted the advanced training course «Digital Tools in Education» from January 11 to 15 of this year. The trainees got acquainted with the relevant digital technologies designed to develop the quality, speed and attractiveness of information transfer in teaching and learning; resources for tracking learning outcomes and progress, increasing students` interest and involvement in the educational process in the distance learning environment.
