Meeting with filmmaker Shayakhmet Imashuly, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of M.Makatayev


On February 9, 2021, in honor of the 90th anniversary of the Kazakh poet Mukagali Makatayev, an informative meeting with the holder of the Order of «Kurmet», film director, mukagalived, professor of the Kazakh National Academy of Arts named after T. Zhurgenov, Shayakhmet Imashuly, was held at the university. The event began with a video dedicated to M. Makatayev, and a performance from the poem of student youth «Akkular Uyyktaganda»was presented. The event was opened by the rector of our university Takir Balykbayev, who told about interesting facts about the creative life of the poet. The guest of the evening, Shayakhmet Imashuly, told about the moral life of the poet, read poems filled with love, beauty, and kindness.


The 70-year-old guest of the evening, Professor Shayakhmet Imashuly, was awarded a letter of thanks from the rector of the university.

 

A member of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan, writer Myrzakhan Akhmetov shared his memories of meeting Mukagali in 1975 at the Republican Council of Young Poets and Writers.

 

During the meeting, an award ceremony was held for the winners of the creative competition «Poetry, menimen egiz be edin?!», which was organized by the Institute of Natural Sciences and Geography in the period from 11 to 31 January this year in an online format.

 

In total, 103 participants took part in the competition, 121 works were published on the social network. The competition was held in three categories:
«Mukagali girliran Marla excellent»;
«Akyn Masina arnap syrma»;
«AII Ayna Zhyr Arnau»;


The award ceremony was held by the guest of the evening, mukagalitologist Shayakhmet Imashuly, who blessed the winners and gave the traditional Kazakh bata.

 

Students who won prizes received for the 1st place an amount of 25,000 tenge, the second place-15,000 tenge, the third place-10,000 tenge, in addition, students were awarded incentive prizes, the amount of which was 7000 tenge. In 3 areas, 18 students were awarded and 6 more students received incentive awards.
