The project «Introduction of the dual system in Kazakhstan» continues

On February 15, 2021, a regular meeting of the KAZDUAL working group - «Implementation of the dual system in Kazakhstan» was held. Project coordinator B.O. Sapargalieva reported on the kick-off-meeting, which took place on February 9, 2021, in an online format.

Welcoming words were made by the Deputy Director of the Department of Higher and Postgraduate Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan - B.M. Narbekova, project officer of the European Commission Agency - Mr. Carlo Imaricio, representative of the National Erasmus + Office in Kazakhstan, project manager - A. Myltykbaeva.

The kick-off meeting program within the KAZDUAL project included speeches by representatives of universities, consortium organizations with presentations of the project management plan, communication plan, work plan for 3 years of the project and focus on the first year of implementation. There was a discussion of the planned results and activities of the project, work packages. Development of a dissemination, quality control and corrective action plan for the project was proposed. Risk assessments and contingency plans (COVID situation) were determined, and discussions were held on project financing and partnership agreement. An important topic of conversation is the terms of reporting, the use of the platform and the project site. Representatives of KazNPU named after Abai presented Work Package-5 on the dissemination and use of the project.

Within the framework of the KAZDUAL project, the consortium will develop a flexible conceptual model of dual education, which will allow training specialists focused on real production, and will increase the share of enterprises in the educational process. This will contribute to the variability of educational programs and thereby satisfy the needs of our partners and employers.
