Literary and musical evening «Zhambyl Zhyrlary»

On February 25, 2021, the Student Assembly «Birlik» and the Department of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan of Abai KazNPU organized a literary and musical evening dedicated to the 175th anniversary of the great poet Zhambyl. Purpose: to instill in readers the poetic talent of Zhyrau-Jambul to love poetry, to appreciate it. Develop a culture of speech, instill respect and respect for the art of speech. Fostering a sense of patriotism, morality, and love for the art of their country through the works of the poet.

The director of the Department for Educational, Social Work and Youth Policy opened the event with a welcoming speech. Before the evening, a video was shown telling about the life of Zhambyl. The event continued with the kyuem «Erke silkym», «Balbirauyn» performed by a 3rd-year student of the Institute of Philology and Multilingual Education Kudaibergen Aisulu. The literary and musical evening was attended by Professor of the University Baltabay Abdigaziuly, T. S. Tebegenov, S. Zh. Abishova, member of the Assembly «Birlik», 3rd year student of the Institute of Psychology and Pedagogy Yarkul Aigul, who shared their impressions about the work of Zhambyl. During the literary evening, university students from different nationalities competed in the expressive reading of the poet`s poems. There was also an excerpt from aitys and a number of songs performed on dombra. Zhakypbek Yermaman from the Institute of Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science, Kisa Nuray, Sanuar Caster from the Institute of Arts, Culture and Sports, Zhakypbay Yerlik from the Institute of Philology and Multilingual Education were particularly pleased with the performance.

At the end of the evening, the results of the Week of Essays on the Works of Zhambyl were summed up. The committee consisted of teachers of S. Kirabayev Departement of Kazakh language and literature of the Institute of Philology and Multilingual Education, who appreciated the students` works and awarded them with special prizes. Results: Students of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology on reading 1st place Kulakova Elena, 2nd place Ahmatdinova Mahliyo, 3rd place Degtyarova Kristina, 1st place on essay writing Azatova Sajidam Institute of Physics, Mathematics and Informatics, 2nd place Kulakova Elena Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology, 3rd place Ramilya Rafailovna Institute of Natural Sciences and Geography.
