Children`s drawing competition «Corruption through the eyes of children»

On 23 April 2021, the Department of Educational, Social Work and Youth Policy together with the centre «Parasat», trade union organization of workers of Abai KazNPU held an exhibition of drawings of the participants of the contest for the best children`s drawing «Corruption in the eyes of children».

The Chairman of the Board-Rector Takir Balykbayev, who thanked the children and parents and congratulated the children who became winners on the victory, opened the event.

Member of the commission specially created to evaluate the work of children, Honorary Worker of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, winner of the State Prize «Daryn», member of the Union of Artists of Kazakhstan, Director of the Institute of Art, Culture and Sports Tokkozha Kozhagulov noted that the content specifics of the works that took part in the competition attached great importance to the skill of their performance.

Then the event continued with the award ceremony for the winners of the competition. The rector of the university Takir Balykbayev awarded all the winners. Based on the decision of the commission «Be honest», the winner of the Grand Prix of the competition Akberen Dones was awarded a cash certificate in the amount of 40,000 tenge. The 1st place was taken by Zamanbek Amira and received a certificate for 30,000 tenge. The winner of the 1st place in the «World of Integrity» contest Nurgisa Nuranbek and the 1st place in the «Future without Corruption» contest Abdrakhman Ramazan were awarded a cash certificate in the amount of 35,000 tenge. All the winners were awarded the diploma of the rector of the university.

At the end of the competition, the jury announced 11 prizes and 11 nominees. Due to the pandemic, the 2.3 place winners and the winners of the incentive prizes will be awarded online on April 26, 2021.
