I congratulate you on Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War!

The 9th of May is a sacred date, a symbol of national pride and glory, courage and audacity, unbreakable unity and solidarity of people for the Victory.

The exploits of our ancestors are the moral compass that inspires us to make new achievements, to work efficiently, to make our country prosperous and to strengthen its might. The Great Patriotic War and its past trains us to cherish our past, value our present and believe in a brighter future.

We will always remember what it took to win the freedom and independence of our Motherland. We will cherish the feeling of gratitude, boundless respect and pride for our heroes - war veterans and toilers of the home front - from generation to generation.

I would like to note that Malik Gabdullin, Rakhimzhan Tokataev, Kudaibergen Suraganov, Sadu Shakirov, Vladimir Breusov, Akhmediyar Khusainov, Kanash Khamzin and Lesbek Zholdasov were among the heroes of our university.

Today, the pride of the university is the representatives of the older generation, veterans of the Great Patriotic War Ishmukhamedov Abdrakhman Sharipovich, Tyuntyan Yuri Alexandrovich.

Fulfilling his professional duty, working for the benefit and prosperity of Kazakhstan, each of us tries to be a worthy heir of our grandfathers and fathers, who have gone through all trials and proved selfless love and devotion to the Fatherland.
