On June 17, 2021 continued its work the summer school «Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University: the experience and problems of higher pedagogical education.

Anar Tanabayeva, Head of the UNESCO Chair in Educational Science and Teacher Training, gave a presentation on «Education for Sustainable Development and Global Citizenship Education: Key Factors. Participants of the session - deputy directors of institutes, heads of departments, university professors - got acquainted with the ideas of global citizenship, discussed the importance of using objectives for sustainable development in pedagogical activities, considered the experience of involving students in culture of peace, fundamental principles and values.

Abdigapbarova Ulzharkyn - Director of the Department of Science, Ermek Buribayev - Head of the Department of Jurisprudence, and Zhanna Khamzina - University Professor, led the next session. The session covered the topic «Preparation of applications for scientific projects on grants of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan». Listeners showed interest in the theme of the report and discussed current issues on the procedure for preparing applications for calls for proposals for research projects. The questions of registration of applications for participation in research projects of the MES RK on various deadlines, formats of filling out the documents, peculiarities of the financial part of applications and their specificity in various scientific areas were described in detail.
