Charity event «Our children»

October 11-23, 2021, with the support of the Department of Educational, Social Work and Youth Policy, the club «Meyrim» organized an online and offline charity event «Our Children» in order to provide financial assistance for the treatment of a ten-year-old Karlygash child suffering from a brain tumor (amaurosis - blindness).

During the event, the university staff, faculty and students of the Institute of Natural Sciences and Geography, the Institute of History and Law, the Institute of Art, Culture and Sports, the Institute of Philology and Multilingual Education, the Institute of Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science actively participated in the promotion of the charity event.

On October 23, the funds collected as part of the campaign - 712,381 thousand tenge - were handed over to the parents of a sick girl with the participation of Idrisov Daulen, Deputy Director for Educational Work at the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology, Ulbolsyn Kiyakbayeva, head of educational programs for preschool education, social pedagogy and self-knowledge, Gulbakhira Shirinbayeva, head of the Meirim club, and volunteer students in the specialty 6B01801 - «Social Pedagogy and Self-knowledge».
