A student of Abai KazNPU won the tournament in memory of Yerbol Sypatayev

On October 28, 2021, city competitions in Kazakh kuresi among students of Almaty universities were held. The tournament was dedicated to the memory of Erbol Sypatayev, a participant in the December 1986 unrest.

The aim of the event was patriotic education, informing students about the events of December 16, 1986, when Kazakh youth protested against the totalitarian Soviet system, and about the tragic consequences of this protest.

In this competition the student of the 4th year of «Physical Education and Sport» specialty of Abai KazNPU, Ersultan Jorabek took the 1st place in the absolute weight category.
