The Republican Week of Doctoral Mastery week has ended

From October 25 to 29, 2021, the Institute of Natural science and geography of the Abai KazNPU held the Republican mastery week for doctoral students. Theme - «Natural sciences and disciplines: research based on advanced experiences and technologies».

In the event, in addition to doctoral students Abai KazNPU, al-Farabi KazNU, Kazakh National Women`s teacher training University, L.N. Gumilyov ENU. Kazakhstani doctoral students studying in foreign universities (the Xinjiang Institute of Ecology and Geography of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Kemerovo State University (Russia)) also took an active part.

Following the wise advice «Examples are more useful than rules when studying the sciences,» webinars on Monday, Wednesday and Friday were held as part of the Doctoral Mastery Week on the topic «New Approaches to Scientific Research», where doctoral students demonstrated their skills in using advanced methods, technologies and practices in the natural sciences on the examples of their research work.

At the closing ceremony of the Week, the winners of the contests «Best speaker», «Best post» and «Best article» were announced.

«Best speaker» contest:
1st place. Arystanov Asset - 1st year doctoral student at Al-Farabi KazNU («8D07302-Geoinformatics»).
2nd place. Salimzhanov Nursultan - 2nd year doctoral student at Abai KazNPU («8D01515-Geography»).
3rd place. Serikkhan Aydarkhanuly - 1st year doctoral student at Al-Farabi KazNU («8D05105-Biotechnology»).

«Best post» contest:
1st place. Issakov Yerlan - 2nd year doctoral student at Abai KazNPU («8D01515-Geography»).
2nd place. Abikbayev Yerzhan - 2nd year doctoral student at Abai KazNPU («8D01515-Geography»).
3rd place. Bakirov Serik - 3rd year doctoral student at Abai KazNPU («8D05101-Biology»).

«Best article» contest:
1st place. Smanov Zhassulan - 3rd year doctoral student of the Xinjiang Institute of Ecology and Geography of the Chinese Academy of Sciences with a degree in geography.
2nd place. Myrzaly Nazira - 2nd year doctoral student at Abai KazNPU («8D01515-Geography»). 3rd place. Shyngysbaeva Shynar - 3rd year doctoral students at Gumilyov ENU («8D05211-Geography of Research and Geographic Information Systems»).

The winners of the competition were awarded with diplomas and cash prizes (I place - 100000 tenge; II place - 50000tenge; III place - 30000 tenge). In addition, letters of appreciation were awarded to doctoral students who actively participated in competitions.
