Members of the «Zanger» club held a round table on «Tauelsizdik -ansap zhetken, мangіlіk еl armany»

This year marks the 35th anniversary of the December youth uprising in Almaty. This event has become one of the most important in the history of Kazakhstan. On 29 October 2021, a round table discussion was held to mark the 30th anniversary of our country`s independence and the 10th anniversary of the Zanger Club, established by the Jurisprudence Department of the Institute of History and Law of Abai KazNPU. The meeting was organised by members of the club.

The event was opened by the Director of the Institute of History and Law, A.M. Junusov. He stressed that today there are many sovereign countries, but not all have been able to achieve success in their development and spoke about the achievements of Kazakhstan for 30 years of independence.

Then E. Buribayev, Vice-rector for research activities of the University, spoke and said that during the last three years the Jurisprudence Department had achieved successes both among the teaching staff and among the students. Distance learning during quarantine measures did not interfere with research work, and, in fact, increased its quality. He said the credit for this belongs to Associate Professor G.B.Meirbekova, who is in charge of the scientific work of students.

The congratulations on the 10th anniversary of the «Zanger» Club from graduates of Law specialty were heard in the video.

Then deputy director on scientific work Muratkazin M.M. and deputy director on educational work Manapbayev N.B. congratulated students with ranks «Best Student» and «Young Scientist» and presented their awards.

Students of the 4th year presented badges and emblem of the club «Zanger» to future members.

The final word was delivered by the Head of the Department «Jurisprudence» B.M. Koshpenbetov, noting the high level of the round table, he wished students further creative successes.
