Involvement of schoolchildren in scientific work and the development of their research abilities

On November 12, 2021, at the Institute of Natural Science and Geography, the Career Development Department held an online seminar for teachers of secondary educational institutions of the Zhambyl and Balkhash districts of the Almaty region to prepare students for research projects, Olympiads at various levels.

The speakers of the seminar were Professor Isbasarova Rimma, Associate Professor Kasenov Soltanbek, and senior teacher Zhusupbekova Nursulu.

The event was attended by the director of the institute Kaimuldinova Kulyash, principals, heads of the academic departments and school teachers, employees of the Institute`s Career Development Department, and teachers.

Director of the Institute Kaimuldinova Kulyash made a welcoming speech to teachers and school administration. She thanked the guests for their participation and said that at present the university pays great attention to strengthening relations between the university and schools.

Speakers in the form of presentations showed instructions on how to prepare in stages for the implementation of various projects and for the Olympiads In particular, they showed examples of tasks encountered in the Olympiads, on what topics you can create interesting projects.

During the seminar, guests received useful information on issues of concern. Teachers expressed the wish that such events be held more often.
