Competition of young poets

On November 16, 2021, Deputy Director for Educational Work of the Institute of Philology and Multilingual Education of Abai KazNPU Yerlan Kasenov, with the support of the Department for Educational, Social Work and Youth Policy, held a competition «Men zhazbaimyn olendi ermek ushin» among talented students.

The first word was given to the vice-rector for social development of the University Shyngys Nurlanov, who noted the importance of creative competitions for the comprehensive development of students. The event was also attended by professors Hussein Kakharman Mutly and Nezir Demir from Turkey and about 40 young poets. Their talents were assessed by the famous poet and editor-in-chief of the newspaper «Abai University» Bolat Sharakhymbay. Gulzhan Kiyarystanova, a 4th-year student of the specialty «Kazakh language and literature», became the winner of the Grand Prix.
