Second year undergraduates and doctoral students passed a pedagogical internship at the Department of World History of the Institute of History and Law

According to the academic calendar, from October 11 to November 17, 2021, the pedagogical practice of 2nd year undergraduates and doctoral students using the educational platforms Microsoft Teams and ZOOM was held on the basis of the Department of World History of the Institute of History and law of Abai KazNPU. 

The pedagogical practice lasted five weeks in the amount of five credits.

Experienced teachers and supervisors met with undergraduates and doctoral students before the start of the program and guidelines for the organization and conduct of pedagogical practice. Following the meeting, individual work plans and schedules were approved.

During the internship, undergraduates and doctoral students were able to develop their pedagogical skills and competencies in high school, using the theoretical knowledge acquired.

During the training, undergraduates and doctoral students showed that they are professionals in their field in understanding the fundamentals of pedagogical didactics and psychology. The desire of the audience to use new digital educational programs to attract students and increase their level of activity was noted.

At the end of the internship, undergraduates and doctoral students defended their reports in the presence of a special commission. He noted that the teaching experience provides great opportunities for the growth of young scientists through dialogue with the audience interested in the modern conditions of online and offline learning. And students quickly master the possibilities of new technologies and enjoy using them in their studies.

As a result, pedagogical practice was carried out at the appropriate organizational and methodological level. This experience has shown the readiness of undergraduates and doctoral students to teach in traditional and online formats.
