Seminar «Content about the Republic of Korea in Kazakh textbooks»

On December 9, 2021, in Nur-Sultan, the Embassy of the Republic of Korea and the Korean Research Center for Korean Studies together with the National Scientific and Practical Center for the Examination of the content of textbooks of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan held a seminar on the topic «Content about the Republic of Korea in Kazakhstani textbooks, the content of materials and ways of development».

At the event, the author of new generation school textbooks (natural science, geography), professor of the educational program geography, environment and the service sector of the Institute of Natural Science and Geography, Bahadurkhan Abdimanapov, made a presentation on «Philosophy and regional aspect of the content of geography textbooks for grades 10-11».

During a conversation with representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, issues of mutually beneficial cooperation between authors of textbooks, increasing Korean and Kazakh content in the school curriculum of students of both countries were discussed.
