Our teachers are the pride of science and education of the Republic of Kazakhstan

There are many talented teachers inAbai KazNPU, who give our students solid knowledge, increase their desire for professional growth, making a great contribution to the development of education and science in Kazakhstan. One of them is the leading philologist-linguist in the country, a graduate of Kazakh State University named after S. Kirov (KazNU named after al-Farabi) Manatkul Shayakhmetovna Musataeva, she has been working at KazNPU named after Abai since 1988. Her achievements are impressive: Doctor of Philology, Professor of the Department of Russian Language and Literature of the Institute of Philology and Multilingual Education, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, Vice President of KazPRYAL, author of 345 scientific papers, including 9 monographs, two university textbooks, one electronic textbook, 34 textbooks, 10 dictionaries. She was twice awarded the state grant and the title of «Best University Teacher» (2005, 2012), as well as the State Scientific Scholarship (2015). Winner of the European Gold Medal and European Quality Diploma (Brussels, Belgium, 2013), holder of 4 collective copyright certificates (2017, 2018). There are 4 publications in SCOPUS and Tomson Reuters publications (co-authored, as well as several works, including 2 collective monographs, indexed in the RSCI), Hirsch index 1. Member of the expert group Educational and Methodological Association Republican Educational and Methodological Council of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the specialty «Linguistics» at KazNU named after al-Farabi, member of the editorial board of the journal «ActaPolono-Ruthenica» (Warmia and Mazury University in Olsztyn, Poland). Under the guidance of M.Sh.Musatayeva, 2 candidates of science and 2 doctors of PhD were defended.

Over the past five years, as a visiting professor, M.Sh.Musatayeva has lectured at the University of California (USA, 2015 and 2016), the Pomeranian Academy in Slupsk (Poland, 2019), the University of Warmia and Mazury (Olsztyn, Poland, 2020). She was the executor of three projects: an international project through AmericanConsul to create an electronic textbook in the Kazakh language «Salem, Kazakhstan!» for students of American universities studying Russian (Washington-Los Angeles, 2015-2016); on fundamental and applied scientific research in the field of socio-economic and humanitarian sciences of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2015-2017. on the topic «Development of an innovative social and humanitarian cluster of discourse strategies and tools of influence in the field of social practices»; International project of the University of California (USA) «Intercultural Verbal communication of American and Kazakh students Engaged in the Study of Russian» (2021-2022).

Passed scientific internships and advanced training courses at research centers of the world`s leading universities: at the University of California (USA, 2019); at the University of Tokyo (Japan, 2013), at the University of California (USA, 2006 and 2013); at Bucknell University (USA, 2013), language training in India under ITEC / SCAAP (India, 2009), at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn (Poland, 2012, 2013), Piestany (Slovakia 2018), at the University of Bucharest (Romania, 2010), at the University of Dusseldorf (Germany, 2012), in Kazakhstan: «Orleu» (Almaty, 2016), NIS (Nur-Sultan, 2019). She received certificates and diplomas.

Professor M.Sh.Musatayeva took an active part in the work of dissertation councils as a member and deputy chairman (2015-2019), currently she is the scientific secretary of the dissertation council for defending dissertations for the award of a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in the specialty «8D01702-Teacher Training on Languages ​​and Literature (Russian Language and Literature)» at Abai KazNPU.
