Today a lot of innovations and innovations, new approaches and technologies appear in the pedagogical sphere, which requires a scientist-researcher of mobile activity, a creative response, the creation of author`s methods and technologies, author`s approaches and methods.

In this regard, one cannot fail to note the successful and fruitful activities of the country`s leading methodologist Gulmira Abzalkhanovna Kazhigalieva. Since 1990, she has been working at the main pedagogical university in Kazakhstan. From 2005 to 2012 she was in charge of Abai KazNPU by the Department of Theory and Practice of Teaching the Russian Language and Literature of the Institute of Philology and Multilingual Education. And all the rich, multifaceted scientific and pedagogical activity of G.A. Kazhigalieva is a vivid confirmation of the words of the outstanding teacher A.S. Makarenko: «In general, pedagogy is the most dialectical, mobile, most complex and diverse science».

Love for the «most complex and diverse» pedagogical science has found its embodiment in the following achievements of Gulmira Abzalkhanovna: Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor; «The best teacher of the university of the Republic of Kazakhstan» in 2007; corresponding member of Y.Altynsarin National Academy of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2006); Academician of the Academy of Natural Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2009); holder of the Certificate of Honor of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2008); holder of the Badge of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan «Honorary Worker of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan» (2009); the owner of the badge «For contribution to the development of science of the Republic of Kazakhstan» (2018); winner of the medal of Abai KazNPU «Uzdik ustaz» (2017), medals of Abai KazNPU «Airyksha Enbegi Ushin» (2019).

G.A. Kazhigalieva is the author of school textbooks on the Russian language of a new generation and updated content under the heading of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan for grades 6, 9 (2002, 2006, 2011, 2015, 2017, 2019). She was the project manager for the grant of the rector of Abai KazNPU in 2010 and 2012, as well as co-leader of the scientific project on fundamental and applied scientific research in the field of socio-economic and humanitarian sciences of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan «Competence-communicative model of language training of future subject teachers in the multilingual educational conditions of the Republic of Kazakhstan» (2018-2020 ).

G.A. Kazhigaliyeva has more than 400 publications, including monographs, scientific articles, reports at international scientific forums, standard and educational programs, teaching materials, methodological recommendations for schools and universities.

G.A. Kazhigalieva is the author of the linguoculturological methodology, which is based on a special unit of education - the linguocultureme. Ideas of linguoculturological approach to language teaching by Professor G.A. Kazhigalieva are reflected in two monographs, 25 textbooks, and numerous scientific articles.

Under the leadership of G.A. Kazhigalieva defended 3 candidates of pedagogical sciences.

G.A. Kazhigalieva is a lecturer at the Institute for Advanced Training of Pedagogical Workers of the branch of JSC «NCPC «Orleu» in Almaty, the Institute for Advanced Training of Pedagogical Workers, the Republican Institute for Advanced Training of Managers and Scientific and Pedagogical Workers of the Education System of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In 2013 she was a visiting professor at the Bashkir State University (Ufa, Bashkortostan, Russia).

G.A. Kazhigalieva is a member of the State Unitary Enterprise Educational and methodological association - Republican educational and methodological council on the basis of Abylai Khan KazUIRWL; reviewer of the scientific journal Abai KazNPU «Bulletin, Series «Philological Sciences»; reviewer of the international scientific journal «Polilog» (Republic of Poland);

Professor G.A. Kazhigalieva takes an active part in the training of scientific and pedagogical personnel as a scientific secretary and a member of dissertation councils for the award of a doctoral degree in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
