International scientific-practical conference dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Professor A.Kobesov

On February 10-11, 2022, an international scientific conference «Audanbek Kobesov - the creator of the face of al-Farabi as a philosopher- thinker, mathematician, natural scientist, educator was held at Abai KazNPU in online form. Modern Education and Upbringing», dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor A.Kobesov. Organizers - Abai KazNPU, Al-Farabi KazNU, the Institute of Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies.

The event was opened by Darkhan Bilyalov, Chairman of the Board - Rector of «Abai KazNPU» NJSC. Welcoming speeches were made by the Chairman of the Board - Rector of Al-Farabi KazNU, Zhanseit Tuimebayev, General Director of the Institute of Philosophy, Political Science and Religious Studies, Serik Seidumanov, President of the National Academy of Engineering, Member of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Zhumagulov, Director of the Central Asian Regional Glaciology Centre under the auspices of UNESCO Takir Balykbayev.

A welcoming video message to the conference was delivered by Galina Matvievskaya, a renowned historian of Arabic and Muslim science and mathematics, member of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan and the International Academy of History of Sciences, Professor at the Orenburg Pedagogical University. She noted her personal acquaintance with A. Kobesov and stressed his achievements as an outstanding scientist-farabist and the need to remember him and study his works.

The moderator of the event was Esen Bidaybekov, the head of the International Scientific Laboratory of Informatization problems of education and educational technologies of Abai KazNPU, professor, academician of the International Academy of Informatization, academician of the Russian Academy of Informatization of Education.

The event was attended by national and foreign scientists, school teachers, university teaching staff, doctoral students, undergraduates and students.
