Nauryz - holiday of spring and renewal of nature

On April 1, 2022, Abai KaNPU celebrated the great holiday Nauryz, which since ancient times was celebrated all over the Muslim world. The «Art Education» and «Design» Departments of the Institute of Arts, Culture and Sports took an active part in the event. The installed yurts differed from each other by their beauty and interior decoration. Various handicrafts of folk craftsmen and musical instruments were presented on the tables in front of them. Guests tasted the traditional Nauryz kozhe.

Rector of the university Darkhan Bilyalov made a welcoming speech and congratulated all present on the occasion and wished them health, happiness, welfare and success.

Famous singers and theatrical artists delighted the audience with their art, and an art piece adorned with the words of Abai`s admonition was performed. Alumni of Abai KazNPU, artist Gulmira Akurpekova, designer Kuralay Nurkadilova and others congratulated the staff of their native university and expressed their sincere wishes to the teachers and students. The celebration of spring and the renewal of nature was very cheerful.
