Abay`s role in the development of Kazakh national culture

On April 14, 2022 within the Decade of Science at the World History Department of the Institute of History and Law of Abai KazNPU an event was held on «The great poet and educator Abay Kunanbayev and his influence on the development of Kazakh national culture», organized by students of the 1st year specialty «6B01606-History-Geography», 3rd year specialty «6B02202-History of science» and group adviser Jaynakbayeva G.T.

Associate Professor Jaynakbayeva G.T. and Head of the Department of World History Rustem K.M., who noted the importance, great significance and the role of Abai Kunanbayev in the enlightenment of the native people, opened the event. Students Sabitov Dastan, Dosybayev Azamat, Ali Erlan, Seyd-ugly Jabrauil, Kim Vasily, Musaliyeva Almira and Dusupov Abay prepared presentation on topic «Great poet and enlightener Abay Kunanbayev and his influence on Kazakh national culture».

During the event students actively participated in the discussion of the presentation and expressed their opinions about the life and work of Abay Kunanbayev, about his literary, social and educational activities and the importance of his works for Kazakh society. At the end of the event, associate professor Jaynakbayeva G.T. summed up and made a memorable photo with the students.
