Educational hour at the Akhmet Baitursynov museum

In accordance with the annual plan of educational work at the Department of Oriental Philology and Translation of the Institute of Philology on April 14, 2022 in Akhmet Baitursynov museum an educational hour of R.K. Orazova with the students of Arabic department of 1-2 courses was held.

During the educational hour at the museum there was a meeting with Shamil Abiltaev, a famous Kazakh kyushi, and participation in the presentation of the kyushi «Teacher of the nation - Akhmet» dedicated to public figures Alikhan Bukeykhanov and Akhmet Baitursynov.

The students were deeply impressed by the story told by the museum staff during the presentation of the exhibits. The students learned a lot about A.Baitursynov`s family and his personality.

During the tour the staff of the museum expressed gratitude to the teachers and students of our university for participation in the subbotnik last week, planting trees in the courtyard of the museum. It was also informed that the big construction works are carried out in the museum on the occasion of 150th anniversary of the national figure, which is celebrated in UNESCO.

This was an important educational event for the students, which ended with a commemorative photograph near the monument to A. Baitursynov.
