Problems of contemporary art education were discussed

On April 21, 2022 Abai KazNPU hosted an international online/offline scientific conference «Collaboration and innovation in art education», dedicated to the 60th anniversary of a famous master of brush, member of the Union of Artists of Kazakhstan, winner of the State Prize «Daryn», Honorary Worker of Education of Kazakhstan, corresponding member of the Academy of Arts of Kazakhstan, winner of the International Zhambyl Prize, Professor, Director of the Institute of Arts, Culture and Sports Tokkozhi Mukazhanovich Kozhagulov.

More than 120 workers of culture, education and science took part in the event. More than 40 of them were from distant foreign countries: Turkey, China, Russia and Uzbekistan. The conference focused on the major problems of contemporary art education and the ways to address them, innovative research and teaching, and the new format of interdisciplinary links between the world`s art and culture sectors.
