In honour of the Great Victory Day

On the eve of Victory Day in Abai KazNPU with the support of the Department of Educational, Social Work and Youth Policy and the trade union organization of university employees a charity event for veterans of the Great Patriotic War and home front workers was organised.

During the event, a laying of flowers at the memorial plaque of Hero of the Soviet Union Malik Gabdullin was held with the participation of Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Bektemesov M.A., Chairman of the Veterans Council Almukhambetov B.A. and Advisor to the Rector of Abay KazNPU Zhunibekbayev J.E.

Veterans of the Great Patriotic War and the labour front, participants of the Afghan war and servicemen who served in the high-risk area were given special food baskets and monetary rewards.
