City mini-football tournament dedicated to M. Auezov`s 125th anniversary

On October 7, 2022 in honor of the 125th anniversary of Mukhtar Auezov in our university was held city tournament on mini-football. The purpose is to instill in young people an interest in the history and culture of the country, as well as to promote a healthy lifestyle. Thanks to this sporting event we pay tribute to the great heritage of national writer Mukhtar Auezov. It is worth noting that he was actively involved in sport and played for Kazakhstan`s first football team. This is an example for the younger generation.

The tournament was attended by 16 teams from universities of Almaty. According to the results of the games 1st place was taken by Abai KazNPU, 2nd - Turan University, 3rd - Kazakh Academy of Sports and Tourism. Begaliev Timur (Turan University) won the nomination «Best Defender», Makai Aidos (Abai KazNPU) won «Best Striker», Narymbet Begimkhan (Kazakh Academy of Sports and Tourism) won «Best Goalkeeper».
