Acquaintance with Almaty schools within the framework of the DAAD project

On October 10, 2022, teachers and pupils from Language School 35 visited Abai KazNPU. The students talked about the school, about the projects, in particular the joint projects with UNESCO and DAAD, and about the debate movement that is taking place on their initiative.

In the afternoon, participants of the international DAAD project came to the International Centre for the Rapprochement of Cultures under the auspices of UNESCO (ICRC) in Almaty to familiarize themselves with its activities and to present the work of the Youth Laboratory of Creative Ideas operating under the Centre at a number of schools of the city. Representatives of the Centre guided the project participants through the ICRC museum and presented the Laboratory of Ideas. Following the introductions to the teams from Gymnasiums 5, 73 and 46, there was an exchange of views among all the participants of the meeting.

Representatives of the foreign delegation of the international project also visited school-gymnasium No. 5, where they participated in improvised lessons of Kazakh language and fine arts, got acquainted with the school library, played Kazakh national games during the physical education lesson, conducted a flashmob dance with children and listened to their performances.
