On 5 April, 2017 at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University was held meeting of experts from the Agence universitaire de la Francophonie on behalf of Mr. Jean-Marc Manjiant and Mrs. Gabriella Scripnic with the heads of our university.
       Rector of Abai KazNPU professor Seryk Praliyev conducted this meeting, also in the meeting participated First Vice-Rector Mubarak Y. Yermaganbetov, Pro-rector for Academic Affairs Aktolkyn T. Kulsariyeva , Pro-rector for Strategic Affairs and International Relations Bolatkhan A. Kozhamkulov , Co-Directors of the Sorbonne-Kazakhstan Institute Gulmira B. Nurlikhina and Marie-Anne Serve.  During the meeting, experts of the AUF told about the agency, the purpose of which is the further development French language.
          In the period of stay experts plan to meet with teachers of the French language, students of the Sorbonne-Kazakhstan Institute, as well as attend French lessons. In prospect , i.e. after a few months, experts will prepare a report with recommendations for the development of teaching French language as a foreign language and French language for special purposes. The meeting was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
