Challenges for productive implementation of the educational process at Abai University

On October 26, 2022 Bektemessov Maktagali Bektemessov together with the Department of Academic Affairs held a meeting with the heads of departments on academic and methodological work. Maktagali Abdimazhituly noted the importance of full familiarization of students and academic staff of the University with the Code of «Academic Integrity», strong compliance with its main provisions and measures to prevent violations of the policy of Academic Integrity. In addition, he noted that the content of the National Qualifying Test (NQT) assignments, as well as the effective use of the Univer system to effectively coordinate learners and faculty in the educational process, implementation of thorough preparation for the quality of the upcoming session is under review, as requested by the graduating courses. The Vice-Chancellor also tasked the trainees to pay more attention to the preparation of assignments such as test, essay, oral, written questions.

At the meeting, Director of the Department of Academic Affairs Zhanbekov Khairulla noted the importance of timely completion of I midterm, feedback from trainees, full implementation of distance learning issues.

At the meeting, Director of the Test Center of the University Daraja Isabaeva in her presentation on «Preparation for control and assessment of learning achievements of students of Abai University» presented the difference between tests, exams taken in oral and written form, and noted the support for taking exams in the system «Textbook».
