Working trip to Uzbekistan

On November 3-8, 2022 representatives of Abai University took part in the international educational exhibition «Bilimdi El-2022» in Tashkent, organized by the International Education Centre «Sana Education» with the assistance of the Ministry of Public Education of Uzbekistan, the Youth Agency of Uzbekistan and the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Uzbekistan. During this exhibition, there was a presentation of educational programs and student life at our university.

During the event there was a meeting of Abai University staff with Firuza Ikromovna, the Vice Rector for International Cooperation of Tashkent State Pedagogical University named after Nizami, where the parties discussed the issues of further mutual cooperation, academic mobility and reached the agreement to develop two-diploma programs.

During this visit to Uzbekistan, visits were made to district schools in Tashkent city and Tashkent region. During a meeting with school leavers representatives of our university explained the information on quotas and grants of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of RK and Bologna process for «kandas», explained step by step the delivery and registration for UNT and discussed issues of admission to Abai University. A meeting was also held with the Chairman of the Kazakh National Cultural and Educational Centre in Tashkent, Serikbay Usenov.
