Philosophy - the pursuit of wisdom

From November 14 to 18, 2022, a Week of Philosophy dedicated to the World Philosophy Day was held at Abai KazNPU. The event was organized by Associate Professor of the Department of Political Science and Socio-Philosophical Disciplines of the Institute of History and Law Madalieva Zhanyl and teachers of the Department Immanmoldaeva Bakyttyzhamal and Sarybayeva Aigerim.

The week was attended by students of 2-4 courses of different directions, as well as the specialty «Philosophy». Various events were held during the Week, where topical issues and issues of modern philosophy were considered. In particular, on November 17, 2022, a cognitive and educational lesson «Philosophy - the pursuit of wisdom» was held with 2nd year students of the Institute of Physics, Mathematics and Informatics. They shared their thoughts about this discipline, held a discussion about the importance of philosophy in the life of society and an individual, illustrating all this with an interesting statement. As a result, the students realized that philosophical knowledge and thinking is the pursuit of wisdom, and wisdom is the basis of spirituality.
