Educational evening «My profession is my pride»

On November 24, 2022, Abai KazNPU hosted an educational evening «My profession is my pride» as part of the pilot project «Creating pedagogical classes».

At the beginning of the new academic year, a creative team led by the rector of the University Darkhan Bilyalov, vice-rector for Academic Affairs Maktagali Bektemesov, vice-rector for Social Development Chingiz Nurlanov, director of the Department for Academic Affairs Khairulla Zhanbekov, head of the Department of Pedagogy of the Institute of pedagogy and psychology Sholpan Kolumbayeva, associate professor of the Department of pedagogy Bauyrzhan Saidakhmetov developed the first pilot project in the country on the topic «Creating pedagogical classes». The goal is the early profile of student youth in the pedagogical sphere, increasing interest in the teaching profession and the formation of a positive attitude to the possibilities of self-education and pedagogical activity in pedagogical activity.

The implementation of the project continues today. It should be noted that the author of the idea is Rector Darkhan Bilyalov. The management of the university decided to provide free grants to students who choose to teach in the future, as well as benefits to the best students-excellent students and activists.

The event, organized in order to implement this project, was attended by academician of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, honored teacher of the country A.Mirazova, vice-rector for academic affairs of Abai KazNPU M.Bektemesov, director of the Department for Academic Affairs Kh.Zhanbekov, associate professors of the Department of pedagogy M.Kursabayev and B.Saidakhmetov. They shared their thoughts on the project.

The meeting was attended by students of the 11th grade of the Republican boarding school for gifted children named after Abai, General Education School No. 154 named after K. Mandoki, Gymnasium school No. 81 and Lyceum School for gifted children named after sh.Smagulov, who are the main participants of this pilot project.

A. Mirazova noted the role of teachers in the education of citizens and the education of a person in general, spoke about the main tasks of pedagogy to the nation with examples from her life, and vice-rector M. Bektemesov, summing up the meeting, noted that the doors of Abay University are always open for students who choose the profession of a teacher in the future.

This meeting, which aroused the interest of the public, was held at a high organizational level and in the context of a comprehensive dialogue. The participants shared their thoughts about the project.
