Plenary session of sections of II International Scientific and Practical Conference

On November 30, 2021, the Department of Chemistry of the Institute of Natural Sciences and Geography organized a plenary session of sections of the II International Scientific and Practical Conference on the topic «Modern aspects of chemical science and Chemical Education: theory and practice», dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Professor Shokybaev Zh.A., Professor Seitzhanov A.F. and the 70th anniversary of Professor Akhmetov N.K. Participants: foreign and Kazakhstani scientists, young scientists, undergraduates and doctoral students. The plenary session and breakout sessions were held in a mixed format (offline and online).

The conference was held in the following four sections:
Section No. 1 «Features of the development of chemical science in the XXI century». Chairman: Bektenov N.A. - Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor; Secretary: Uzakova A. - Senior lecturer. Section No. 2 «Theory and methods of teaching and upbringing in the modern educational space». Chairman: Zhaksibayev M.Zh. - Doctor of Economics, Associate Professor; Secretary: Dyusembayeva G.T. - teacher. Section No. 3 «The state of teaching fundamental subjects in secondary school». Chairman: Zhusupova L.A. - Candidate of Technical Sciences, senior lecturer; Secretary: O. Kulumbetova - teacher. Section No. 4 «Current state and prospects of chemical education in colleges and universities». Chairman: Sagimbayeva A.E. - Candidate of Chemical Sciences, Senior lecturer; Secretary: Bakytkarim R. - PhD, lecturer.

Reports of foreign and local speakers were heard, experience was exchanged. They presented their research papers in the form of reports, presentations and posters, layouts. About 100 reports were heard at the breakout sessions. The plenary session and breakout sessions of the conference were held at a very high level.
